As we bid farewell to 2024 and gear up for an exciting 2025, Hyphen is setting some bold resolutions to stay ahead of the curve. Here’s how we plan to make waves in the year ahead:

Content Conquers

Positive disruption is our game! In 2025, we’re all about creating visually stunning experiences that grab attention and spark organic, shareable content beyond the activation itself. Think viral moments amplified by influencers who resonate with your brand.

There’s a purported consumer desire in 2025 to ‘Escape the Algorithm’ and be surprised, so let’s give them something unique to post about and expand the reach of it through the use of targeted content creators.

Working with our specialist partners has seen some of our 2024 activations soar. For example, our work with fellow Omnicom agency Ketchum saw the launch of Liquid IV achieve an insane 447m media reach. The launch of the K8 Fully Automatic Espresso Machine achieved a 203k influencer reach for Kitchen Aid, and finally, our integrated Hot Wheels Legends campaign achieved over 250k social impressions.

 

Make It Alive

We know the power of live experiences is stronger than ever, with a reported 73% of consumers choosing it over digital. But how can we truly make an activation feel alive? We've had great success this year with the introduction of live murals and art experiences across a number of our events. This means the environment is always evolving, giving consumers a secondary reason to visit alongside those all-important Instagram moments. Not only can art have a place in experiential, but we will also (after much success in 2024) think about repurposing the space during different times of the day. For example, our Kitchen Aid activation at Battersea Power Station included special moments for residents, morning coffee masterclasses, and then pivoted to an espresso martini bar early evening.

Let’s Get Personal 

We’re diving deep into AI and data in 2025 to craft even more hyper-personalised experiences that hit the right note every time. We’ve never been a one-size-fits-all agency, but our desire for the year ahead will be to create even more experiences that turn consumers into brand fans.

Working with our data science team, we want to dig deeper to analyse behavioural data to understand not only what consumers want but why they want it and when. Also considering how we make our activations inclusive and accessible to all, reflecting the diverse needs and preferences of today’s consumers.

Whilst we live in a hyper-connected world, the sense of disconnection is growing, so crafting experiences which not only appeal to different audiences but also create a sense of community will be a win-win for Hyphen.

The Power of Partnering 

Everything’s better in twos, right? For 2025, we want to make our clients' budgets and reach stretch even further at no extra cost to them. Sounds too good to be true? Well, we’ve set the balls in motion for this in 2024 with brands including Samsung, DeWalt, and Honda. Let’s continue to partner with complementary brands to bring together new audiences and add extra value to our experiences.

2025 is all about pushing boundaries with tech. From mixed reality to AI and multi-sensory experiences, we’re turning spaces into interactive wonderlands that keep audiences engaged, inspired, and talking.

AI and Machine Learning: We will leverage AI and machine learning to predict consumer behaviour and tailor experiences in real-time.

 Green Goals: Sustainability Steps

Sustainability isn’t just a trend; it’s a commitment. With new regulations like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) coming into play, we’re stepping up our green game. From FSC-approved materials to zero-waste initiatives, we’re making sure our events are as eco-friendly as they are unforgettable.

Our Green Pledge:

Isla Training: All our team members have been trained by the industry’s sustainability body.

Earthly Collaboration: Partnering with them for natural carbon removal and biodiversity restoration.

Sustainable Materials: Using FSC-approved wood and recyclable materials.

Circular Economy: We will integrate circular economy principles into our events, designing experiences that minimise waste and promote reuse and recycling.

We’ve made a start on this approach in 2024, delivering multi-use kits for a number of clients rather than one-off executions. For example, building a pop-up store fit-out.
